Communications Director for Zylofon Music, Mr Arnold Asamoah Baidoo, says it is not mandatory for their two dancehall acts, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy to become close pals under their label, Zylofon Music.
According to him, the most important thing for their two top signees is to focus on the objectives of their contracts and careers than worry about smoking the peace pipe.

He told Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Thursday that “The fact that competitive artistes are on the same label doesn’t mean they have to be friends. There is a purpose and focus, so once they respect that focus, everything should be okay. There should be a cordial relationship except that we don’t expect them to be friends, once they are focused and happy … everything is good”, Arnold maintained.
Arnold further noted that having lots of artists signed under the same label doesn’t mean they should, at all cost, be comrades, adding that respect and recognition of other’s work should be the key.
