Ghanaian Paralympic Athlete ,Yussif Amadu is unhappy about the treatment meted out to him by both the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the National Paralympic Committee after his terrible accident at the 2017 Para Athletics Championships in London.
Amadu, who was Ghana’s only representative in the T42 High Jump competition suffered a head injury while the event was ongoing.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Sports Night Show,Yusif said “All my effort to meet the Sports Minister proved futile, so as I speak to you now I don’t know whether he knows about my condition or not “.
“The National Paralympic Committee has not done anything to help me,all they keep telling me is ,it shall be well”.
“The Federation is doing well but what I have observed is that they don’t have the balls to face those in authority”.
“All I want is for them to give me my money so I can buy my medicines”,he added.
Yussif Amadu won Gold in the 2015 Desert challenge Games and placed 7th in 2016 Olympic games in Rio.
