Board Chair of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), Elizabeth Ohene, has praised Ghana’s socio-economic progress under the leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Speaking at the NPP manifesto launch on August 18, she emphasized that the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia administration has prioritized the basic needs of every Ghanaian, ensuring access to shelter, food, education, and healthcare.
According to Madam Ohene, the government’s efforts have significantly reduced the gap between the rich and the poor, enabling all citizens to afford life’s essentials.
“The NPP government is deeply committed to inclusivity, equity, and justice. Over the past two terms, we have worked tirelessly to achieve these goals through targeted social interventions, enhancing existing programs, reviving lost ones, and introducing new initiatives,” she stated.
She highlighted the government’s vision of building a society where every citizen, regardless of their circumstances, can live with dignity and hope.
Madam Ohene urged Ghanaians to support the NPP for another term, stressing the importance of continuity in the party’s mission to create a more just and compassionate Ghana.
“Please remember, you are safe with the NPP,” she added.
