Your complacency led to mishap – DJ replies Fameye over London concert

-

London-based disc jockey, DJ Chos has issued a detailed response to  statements made by Fameye regarding their performance mishap at a recent concert.

Fameye walked off the stage, citing unprofessionalism on the part of the DJ after his setlist failed to resonate with his planned performance.

Addressing the controversy surrounding the event, DJ Chos Media apologized to fans but countered Fameye’s allegations, stating that his inadequate preparation and complacency is to be faulted.

According to DJ Chos, Fameye only attended two brief rehearsal sessions ahead of the event. The first session lasted 12 minutes and took place in DJ Chos’ car after Fameye declined a formal studio session, citing fatigue.

The second session, held at the venue, lasted 15 minutes. During these rehearsals, a specific playlist was agreed upon for the performance.

However, he claimed Fameye’s team member kept requesting a different setlist till the last minute, leading to the confusion.

DJ Chos defended his professionalism, having successfully work with other artists such as Kelvyn Boy, King Paluta and Kweku Flick, who performed seamlessly on the same night.

He expressed dissatisfaction with Fameye’s attempt to discredit his over 25 years of experience in the industry.

DJ Chos  urged Fameye and his management to reflect constructively on the incident, suggesting that shifting blame would not address the underlying challenges.
