Ghana’s Ambassador to the United States (US), Dr Baffour Adjei Bawuah, says the ‘Year of Return’ has been a success more especially in the United States of America.
According to Dr Bawuah, the ‘Year of Return, Ghana 2019’, which is a year-long celebration to mark 400 years of the arrival of the first enslaved Africans in Jamestown, Virginia, has heightened the projection of Ghana’s rich culture and values to the world.
“The ‘Year of Return’ is still on and has so far been a success, especially on the international front,” he said.
