YEA launches School Support Programme

The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has announced the opening of applications for its School Support Programme (SSP) today, July 30, 2024.

In partnership with the Ghana Education Service (GES), the SSP aims to enhance Ghana’s educational infrastructure and offer essential support to schools nationwide.

The programme aims to employ 10,000 dedicated individuals, providing valuable skills development and career-building opportunities.

Young Ghanaians aged 18 to 35 are invited to apply for various roles, including Community Education Teaching Assistants (CETA) and School Guards & Kitchen Assistants.

CETAs, who should hold at least a Diploma, will assist teachers and improve student learning experiences. Those with a Senior High School (SHS) education can apply for roles as School Guards or Kitchen Assistants, contributing to a safer and more supportive school environment.

Applications are open until August 5, 2024.
