Yaw Preko denies leaving Nsoatreman FC
-
Nsoatreman FC head coach, Yaw Preko, has dismissed rumours suggesting he has parted ways with the club.
Reports circulated on Wednesday claimed that the former Ghana international had stepped down due to the team’s struggles in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.
However, speaking on Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show, Preko firmly denied the allegations and assured fans of his continued commitment to the club.
“It is not true that I have left Nsoatreman FC as head coach,” he stated. “I saw the reports on social media, but it is not true. I am still here, and I remain the head coach of Nsoatreman FC,” he added.
Preko took over as head coach ahead of the 2024/25 season, succeeding Maxwell Konadu. Despite his efforts, the team has struggled to find consistent form, currently sitting 15th on the league table with 15 points.
Yaw Preko remains determined to turn the season around as Nsoatreman FC prepares to face Young Apostles in the Round of 32 of the MTN FA Cup this Sunday at the Nana Kronmansah Park.
