Renowned Ghanaian gospel musician, Piesie Esther has debunked rumors circulating in the media that she does not write her own songs.
In an interview with host Ohemaa Woyeje on Adom FM’s ‘work and happiness’, the gospel musician said given her experience, she does not need anyone to write songs for her. “After fifteen years of been in the industry people think I have ghostwriters but I truly write my own songs. I want to deliver genuine and quality music to my people.

Meanwhile, Opiesie Esther is set to release her fourth album titled ‘Agye Wonsam’ having the literal meaning ‘You can’t hold it any longer’.

Opiesie Esther is undoubtedly one of the influential gospel musicians in the country and she has churned out a lot of hit songs over the years.
‘Men Ti Asie’ was her biggest hit, followed by her third album also titled Zeba Beko, which excelled well on the charts of Gospel music across the country.
On her nomination for the upcoming Ghana music awards, Piesie Esther was grateful to the Lord for bringing her this far and plead with her fans to vote for her to win ‘Gospel Song of The Year’ during this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. (VGMA)
