A pastor with International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) says women should take a decision to leave a marriage when cheating becomes their habit.
Mrs Theresa Wiafe-Asante said when the marriage is terrible, this will serve the individuals in the marriages better instead of the lady staying on, cheating and damning the consequences.
She told Edem Knight-Tay on JoyFM’s Home Affairs show on Saturday that women seem to be “closing in on the infidelity gap,” and thereby catching up with the men.
“It is so wrong but it is also true in recent times, that women and wives are closing in on the infidelity gap,” she added.
She, however, stressed regardless that “no matter how you rationalise infidelity, it is so wrong.”
She appealed to wives who are engaged in silent secret extramarital affairs with lovers to leave their marriages instead because she believes when a woman cheats, they can no longer be proud women and wives.
“I will encourage you to stop this whole marriage thing and go out and find somebody rather than staying in a man’s home and doing this,” she said.
“For me, it takes away your pride as a woman or as a wife and it takes away your self-esteem as well and many other things,” Mrs Wiafe-Asante added.
