Woman who wrote haunting coronavirus Facebook post hasn’t been seen for 2 months

-

A woman who shared a worrying Facebook post about having suspected coronavirus has been missing for two months.

Talina Galloway, 53, disappeared on April 7 and has not contacted friends or family since, which is believed to be out of character.

She vanished from her home in Wagoner, Oklahoma, without her purse and her roommate reported her disappearance to police.

Her car was also left in the driveway and a friend says her phone has been switched off since that day in April.

A missing persons flier says she was sick but terrified of going into hospital.

She said in her Facebook post that she would deal with the illness by taking some time away at one of her favourite ‘hideaways’.

Her worried family and friends are desperate to find her.

Talina wrote online on April 7: “Hey everyone, I’m on Day 9 of this virus and I am pretty sure it has reached my lungs.

“Feeling a little raspy and tight.

“I made the decision at the onset that if it got bad enough, I would not go to the hospital.

“Those of you who know me well know I have DNR orders in my health directive, and I’m not going to let anyone intubate me.

“So, I’ve made arrangements to spend some quality alone time at one of my favourite hideaways at one of my favourite lakes…”

Her niece, Chantel Jones told Dateline: “We’re really worried about her.

“This is not her character. She would not let us worry like this.”

Chantel said her aunt had moved to Wagoner with her husband, who suddenly died two years ago, the Daily Star reports.

Talina, who works for Microsoft, is believed to have been in contact with her boss up until March 27.

Earlier in the week, she had also texted a close friend, Marty Angus.

Marty told  KRJH  : “She wasn’t feeling well, and she would get back to me when she felt better,

“I’ve been calling, texting. There’s just no answer. Her phone’s been off since the 7th.”

Police have described her disappearance as ‘troubling’ and are investigating.138208672551

Investigations so far indicate she used a ride-sharing App to go to a location in Arkansas.

Talina is described as being 5ft 7, medium build, and short brown hair.

She has a tattoo of a ‘sun type symbol’ around her right wrist.
