A 20-year-old woman was forced to jump 50ft into snow to escape a ‘rapist’ who was on her trail and allegedly had two other women tied up in his flat.
Harrowing CCTV shows the moment the suspect is then seen running towards his gravely-wounded victim seconds before he stabs her, it is alleged.
Eyewitnesses seen running from the attacker called police who later detained a man identified as 28-year-old Tolibchon Aminov.
He is now under criminal investigation for rape, attempted murder and the kidnapping of two other women, aged 22 and 37, who were tied up with duct tape in the apartment from which the victim had jumped.
The suspect was shown at a crime reenactment at the spot where the woman fell telling investigators: “I stabbed her twice. With a knife. This way. Then I ran away.”
He demonstrates on a mannequin how he allegedly attacked the woman.
The Russian Investigative Committee said Aminov – whose job was renovating flats – “used violence against [the woman] and beat her up, after which he raped her.
“The victim, fleeing from the accused, jumped from the height of the fourth floor.
“The man, with intent to kill her looked for a sharp object, went downstairs and inflicted multiple wounds on her, after which he fled.”
The 20-year-old woman is in a “serious” condition in hospital with a fractured pelvis and stab wounds.
The suspect, a Tajikistan citizen, has been detained for two months pending further investigations.
