A 38-year-old Priscilla Parry has made a passionate appeal to Ghanaians for financial support to aid her kidney treatment.
The young woman, whose two kidneys have been in a bad state since 2019, needs a kidney transplant urgently.
According to her, she has a donor but is in dire need of $45,000 before a transplant can be done.
Sharing how she has been coping in the past years with Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem show, she said she spent all her life savings on dialysis.
Miss Parry explained she has run out of cash but by kind courtesy of loved ones, she is able to go for dialysis which cost GHc900 weekly.
“It started as a Malaria fever. When I went to the hospital, the doctor asked me to do a kidney function and typhoid test, so he can examine them. After that, he told me that my two kidneys have failed. I used to sell things for a company. I have used all my life savings.
“At this point, I’m unable to pay for the dialysis so it’s a loved one who has been footing the bill,” she narrated.
Priscilla will be grateful to well-meaning Ghanaians who can support her with their widow’s mite through Mobile Money number 0593038769 with the account name Multimedia Group Limited Adom Praiz.
