Some Information Technology (IT) graduates of the Wisconsin International University College have called on the incumbent government to build more ICT centres to boost students’ interest in technology across the country.

The students made the plea during Wisconsin’s graduation ceremony over the weekend, asking the government to treat IT as a priority to develop the nation.

According to the graduates, the world is developing at a pace where IT students are at the frontiers when it comes to putting a nation on the map through technological advancement.

I couldn’t design website thanks to Wisconsin, I can now do so. Now I have learnt a lot. The government should put measures in place to improve IT because everything is about IT now. We need more centres to train more people,” one of the graduates said.
