Head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Steve Pollack has promised fans of the club that the he will lead the club to win the 2017/2018 Ghana Premier League.
The British trainer who arrived in Ghana on Saturday a short break believes he is ready to start pre-season with his players and is hopeful of winning the league in his second season in charge of the Porcupine Warriors.
“I am well refreshed and prepared for the new season. Asante Kotoko is a very big club and I will do my best to win the league this season,” he told Asempa FM’s Ultimate Morning Show.
“My players did so well last season and I am very grateful to them. I will join them in training today so we prepare for the season ahead,” Pollack stressed.
Coach Steven Polack took charge of Asante Kotoko mid-season and led the club to place fifth on the league table and won the MTN FA Cup at the expense of arch rivals Hearts of Oak.
The club has also qualified for the 2018 edition of the Confederations Cup.
