The Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Mr. Robert Sarfo Mensah, has revealed that his outfit will quadruple it’s Internally generated fund this year to enable the authority fund their development projects and also support the various federations under them.
He explained that, the funds that have been allocated to NSA could not cater for all the mandate of the authority, therefore they will be exploring other avenues to get more funds for sports .
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show, the former Member of Parliament for Asunafo North disclosed that, “The National Sports Authority will quadruple it’s Internally Generated Funds (IGF) in 2018 to enable it support the federations towards development and promotions”.
“It is also very important that we use our resources judiciously and efficiently “,he added.
Hon. Robert Sarfo Mensah took over as National Sport Authority boss in May 2017.
