Africa’s joint top scorer of the 2018 FIFA U20 Women World Cup Qualifiers, Princella Adubea, says she is not swollen-headed by this achievement.
She says she is rather grateful to her colleagues and handlers for the qualification.
The Ampem Darkoa goal poacher revealed that they played as a team throughout the qualification matches and played according to the tactics of head coach, Yussif Basigi.
“It has not been an easy journey for us but we thank God for having sailed through and will be in France to compete for the world cup. We are not just going to participate; we will continue with our fine form and do our best”, Adubea said.
Hesitant to predict the team and her personal performance in France come August, the intelligent attacker hoped for the better and promised to keep her focus and always hope for scoring opportunities.
