Executive Committee member of the Ghana Football Association, Leanier Addy, has reiterated the importance of Black Queens friendly game against France.
The 2015 All Africa Games Champions will lock horns with Les Bleues (The blues) of France today 23rd October.
According to Madam Addy who doubles as the Women’s League Board and Black Queens Management Committee Chairperson, the Black Queens will approach the game with all seriousness and play it like a qualifier.
“We are going to approach Monday’s friendly game with all seriousness”, she told Asempasports.
“We will not be playing any qualifiers ahead of the 2018 African Women’s Cup of Nations(AWCON) because Ghana is hosting,therefore,the players are set to play this game like a qualifier”.
“This is all part of the preparations towards AWCON 2018”.
“The coach as you can see is up to the task and also working very hard to put the team in shape. There is discipline in camp and the determination level is up there ,we are not here to joke at all”.
“We are not taking this game lightly at all, as a team, we came here to win and we will do exactly that”.
Leanier Addy believes that the game will help prepare the team adequately for the 2018 AWCON.
The game will kick off at 7:00pm local time.
