Former Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Samuel Abu Jinapor, has shared that he does not miss his time at the ministry, despite having spent four years in the role.
Reflecting on his tenure, he emphasized that he accomplished what was necessary and had a meaningful and fulfilling experience.
In an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen, the Damongo Member of Parliament (MP) revealed that his time at the ministry is now behind him.
“I was there for four years, and I believe I did all that needed to be done. I had a good bite at it. I was a minister for four years, and I stopped being a minister on January 6, 2025. It is done and dusted. It’s over, and I’m gone,” he said.
Despite not missing the role itself, Jinapor acknowledged that he misses some of the people he worked with during his tenure.
“I miss some of the people, there are no two ways about it. I had excellent people across the board. They were professional, non-partisan, hardworking, and always trying to give their best,” he said.
Jinapor also praised the workers at the Ministry for their support of his successor, Emmanuel Armah Kofi-Buah.
