Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM’s morning show Daybreak Hitz, Fuse wondered why BET which is supposed to be celebrating and promoting their own from Africa will also discriminate by not allowing them to receive awards during the live show.
“The very people who are supposed acknowledge their roots are the same people who downplayed us, but it’s a good thing they have changed things now, our artists now receive their awards on stage. It took our voices for such issues to be addressed”, he said.
