Why Alhaji Short withdraws from NPP’s chairmanship race

-

Former Upper West Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alhaji Abubakar Abdul-Rahman-Alhaji Short has officially withdrawn from the NPP National Chairman race.

The decision, according to his aide, Kwabena Marfo is due to the needless tension his candidacy has generated in the party.

He noted that the decision was taken after long introspection and consideration and is in the interest of the party.
