The father of the late Ebony Reigns, Mr Opoku Kwarteng, says he has never had the chance to interact with the driver who was driving the vehicle that was involved in the accident that took his daughter’s life last year.

Her childhood friend and assistant, Franky Kuri, and their bodyguard also died in the crash.
But the driver who was the only survivor of the fatal accident has still not provided any statement to the police, Ebony’s father has alleged.
Speaking on Asempa FM‘s weekend entertainment show dubbed, “Zoblazo”, Mr Kwarteng said: “I didn’t understand all the happenings; his [the driver] statement was off. A witness claimed the driver had blood all over him and was presumed to be dying but after reaching the hospital, it seemed like just a scratch on him”.
Mr Kwarteng who appears to doubt the driver’s account in relation to how the accident came about, says he wants the police to thoroughly investigate him.

“Nature is unfair; I suspected some things that’s why I pushed much with the police. If three people died, I thought the driver would be investigated [after recovery]. We should have had an official statement [from him].
“I haven’t seen that boy as we speak; maybe I’m not searching him enough. Maybe it’s my responsibility but I’m not doing it,” he said.
