We’ll ensure all unfairly dismissed teachers are reinstated – Ntim Fordjour

-

The Member of Parliament for Assin South and former Deputy Minister of Education, Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, has assured that all teachers who were unfairly dismissed will be reinstated.

His pledge follows a directive from the Ghana Education Service (GES) ordering the reinstatement of affected teachers whose appointments were revoked.

In a post on X on Thursday, March 6, Ntim Fordjour attributed this development to the persistent advocacy of the Minority in Parliament.

“After a forceful collective advocacy of the Mighty Minority, the Director-General of GES has done the needful. We will monitor to ensure all teachers who were unfairly and insensitively terminated are reinstated,” he stated.

He commended the Director-General of GES for taking action to address the situation and emphasized his commitment to seeking justice for all workers facing similar unfair treatment.

“The fight continues unabated until all our hardworking citizens who suffered similar injustices are fully restored,” he added.
