Wednesday, June 5 declared public holiday

The Ministry of Interior has declared Wednesday, June 5 as a public holiday.

The day will be marked as the celebration of Eid-al-Fitr, and will be observed as a statutory public holiday throughout the country.

In a statement signed by the Minister of Interior, Ambrose Dery, he called on the public to be reminded as such.

The general public is hereby informed that Wednesday, 5th June, 2019 which marks the celebratio of Eid-al-Fitr, is a statutory public holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country.
