We won’t rush to appoint head coach – Hearts of Oak PRO

-

Public Relations Officer and a management member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo, says the club’s management is under no pressure to name a new manager.

The Phobians parted ways with an interim manager, Henry Wellington, after the first round of the 2017/2018 Zylofon Cash Premier league and Mr Addo says plans are far advanced to employ a substantive manager.

“Management is still in the process of acquiring a new coach but we are not in a hurry or under any pressure. The club did not finish the first round well and so we are doing all we can to get a good coach so we end well”, Opare explained.

Appreciating the fact that stop-gap coach Hoffman is doing a good work so far, Mr Addo remains confident management is not moved by the names being tagged in the media as returning to the club; instead, he says, they are focused on recruiting one that will lift the fortunes of the club.

Hearts of Oak are 13th on the league log with 17 points with a game in hand to end the first round of the 2017/2018 Zylofon Cash Premier League.
