The Minority Leader and Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, has assured that the incoming National Democratic Congress (NDC) government will not betray the trust of Ghanaians.

In a Facebook post, Dr Ato Forson expressed gratitude to the Ghanaian people for their massive support in the 2024 general election.

The legislator reaffirmed the party’s dedication to serving the nation diligently and responsibly.

“But this victory isn’t ours alone; it’s a powerful statement from the true masters of our democracy—the resilient people of Ghana. We hear you, and we will not betray your trust. Unlike the NPP, we will uphold governance rooted in integrity, probity, and accountability,” he pledged.

Dr Forson in an earlier address on the floor of Parliament emphasized the need for the NDC to prioritize the needs of Ghanaians over political interests.

He noted that the time had come for the incoming government to correct the perceived failures of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and deliver on promises that would benefit the ordinary Ghanaian.

Dr. Forson reiterated the importance of people-centered policies, urging the incoming administration to avoid the mistakes of the past.

He further emphasised that the incoming NDC government will respect the Ghanaian people by rejecting impunity and greed.

The MP pledged that the NDC will work collaboratively to address the country’s pressing challenges and restore confidence in leadership.

He called on citizens to remain united and hopeful, as the party embarks on delivering a government that reflects the aspirations of all Ghanaians.
