Hearts of Oak head coach, Aboubakar Ouattara, has urged fans of the club to stay united and desist from insulting the playing body and the technical team.
The Ivorian manager made these remarks following their 2-0 win against Bechem United in the Matchday three games at the University of Ghana Stadium.
The former league champions came under strong pressure from supporters of the club following back-to-back defeats in their first two games of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
“We’re working for them [supporters]. I understand when they criticise us,” Ouattara told the media after the game.
“You can criticise us and say anything you like, but please do not insult [us]. What we need is unity. We need to stay together, and if that happens, I think we can achieve a lot,” he added.
The win on Sunday takes Hearts to the 10th position on the league table after three games with their next game against Nations FC at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
