Asante Kotoko coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum expressed his frustration over missed opportunities following his team’s 1-1 draw against Young Apostles in the Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors were hoping to record their first win at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium against the Premier League newcomers.
Young Apostles took the lead early in the second half, with Daniel Lomotey scoring in the 51st minute before Emmanuel Antwi netted the equalizer in the 79th minute, securing a point for the home side.
“We created more chances. It’s good for us and all that we have to do is to make sure we convert our chances in subsequent games,” Ogum said.
“We need to emphasize more on goal scoring,” he added.
The result means Kotoko now sit 7th on the league log with four points with an outstanding game. Prosper Ogum will hope to lead his side to record a win when they face Berekum Chelsea in the Matchday four games at the Golden City Park.
Meanwhile, Young Apostles are still in search of their first league win and will take on Aduana FC in their upcoming fixture.
