We inherited a weak, challenging power system but… – John Jinapor

Energy Minister John Jinapor has assured that the government has secured adequate fuel to sustain power supply nationwide.

Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen, the Yapei-Kusawgu MP indicated that the ruling government inherited a very weak and challenged system. However, they have been proactive in maintaining a stable energy supply.

Mr. Jinapor’s assurance comes in the wake of recent complaints about intermittent power outages in parts of the country.

The Minister further urged calm, emphasising the government’s commitment to transparency in addressing public concerns about power supply.
