Hearts of Oak coach, Aboubakar Ouattara has urged fans to remain calm and united as they strive to create a competitive team capable of winning trophies.
His call comes after the Phobians secured a 2-0 victory over Bechem United in Matchday three at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
Hearts faced two consecutive losses against Berekum Holy Stars and Heart of Lions, prompting some fans to demand Ouattara’s dismissal in their first two games of the ongoing 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
Following the win, he emphasized the importance of unity in their ongoing project to build a strong team.
“Hearts of Oak does not belong to me,” said the head coach after the game against Bechem.
“Hearts of Oak has a big project. The project is to build a strong team to go and conquer, not just to win for the sake of it,” he added.
Next, Hearts will face Nations FC in Matchday four at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in the Matchday four games.
