Gospel musician Empress Gifty has revealed that she and other top gospel artistes often experience spiritual attacks before releasing certain songs.
Speaking on Adom FM’s Ofie Kwanso show, she explained that these challenges arise because the songs are meant to impact people’s lives positively.
“Sometimes, you go through attacks before a song comes out. The kind of challenges you face… it’s because the song will touch lives, so you need to be spiritually strong and fit,” she said.
She added that these attacks can be so severe that artistes may forget their own lyrics or feel discouraged from promoting their songs.
“That’s why some people stop doing interviews when they release new songs. They lose focus, sometimes even becoming too focused on the money instead of promoting the message,” she told Jerry Justice.
