The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has revealed they are waiting on for legal advice before taking any action on the injunction placed on their upcoming presidential Pprimaries.
An Accra High Court placed an interim injunction on the upcoming presidential primaries slated for January 2019.
It followed the filing of a suit by two members of the NDC Abdallah Issa and James Kabu Natey-Oman in Accra, who claimed the guidelines for the conduct of the election which has been introduced by the National Executive of the party, was against the September 1992 constitution of the NDC.

In an interview with Adom News, the Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Peter Boamah Otukonor stated they have received the writ and have forwarded it to their lawyers for advice.
“I received the writs around 11 pm yesterday because I was busy with the collection of the nomination forms.”

However, the spokesperson for Joshua Alabi one of the candidates said they are yet to be informed about the injunction by the executives while Goosie Tanoh’s team have also stated that they will not stop their campaigning until they are told to do so by the executives of the p[arty.
