Asante Kotoko head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum, has expressed confidence in his team’s preparedness ahead of their crucial Ghana Premier League encounter against Berekum Chelsea on Wednesday.

The Porcupine Warriors will welcome Chelsea to the Baba Yara Stadium for an outstanding Matchday 21 fixture in the ongoing 2024/25 season.

Speaking ahead of the highly anticipated clash, Narteh Ogum acknowledged the quality of their opponents but reiterated Kotoko’s determination to secure all three points.

“We are very ready for the game on Wednesday, especially based on the fact that we are playing against one of the best sides in the league,” he said.

“They have good quality players, a good coach, and they know what they are doing on the field, so we are very ready for them,” Ogum added.

Kotoko currently sit at the top of the league table with 42 points from 23 games, while Berekum Chelsea occupy eighth place with 32 points. A victory for the hosts would further solidify their title ambitions.

The much-anticipated match is set to kick off at 15:00 GMT at the Baba Yara Stadium.
