The Communications Director for Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo, remains optimistic about the team’s potential for success despite a rocky start to the season.
His comments followed a hard-fought victory over Medeama SC on Friday night at TNA Park during the Matchday 9 fixtures of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League. Goals from Kwabena Boateng and Mawuli Wayo secured the win for the Phobians.
In the wake of the victory, Opare Addo commended both the players and the coaching staff, expressing confidence that the team can achieve significant milestones by the end of the season despite their earlier struggles.
“This is what we want to see from the team and the technical staff,” he told Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show. “We didn’t start well, but we are hoping that by the end of the season, we will be able to achieve great things,” he added.
With this win, Hearts of Oak climbed to 8th place in the league standings with 12 points and will face Vision FC in their next match on Matchday 10 at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
