Uncle of Andre and Jordan Ayew, Solar Ayew, says his family members are born to be leaders and for that matter even if the former Swansea players are not able to captain the Black Stars, there are other young players in the family who will at all costs captain the team in years to come.

His comment follows an assertion that this season is the Ayew brothers’ last chance for one of them to be named captain of the senior national team since Dede is now 29 and Jordan, 27 years and their form is gradually dipping.

Speaking on Asempa FM, the Uncle indicated that in the family, football is their only source of income since they don’t have any work aside engaging in the sport.

“We don’t do anything extraordinary, our secrete is training, it is training that makes them perfect and nothing else,“ he told Worlanyo Wallace.

“We are born to be footballers because we don’t have any work apart from football; we are okay whether we lead or are just be part of a team,” he added.
