Hearts of Oak coach, Aboubakar Ouattara is determined to secure a crucial win against arch-rivals Asante Kotoko in their highly anticipated Super Clash.

The Ivorian tactician shared his thoughts after leading his team to a dominant 4-0 victory over Immigration FC in the Round of 64 of the MTN FA Cup on Sunday.

Despite the resounding success, Ouattara urged his players to quickly shift focus to their upcoming challenge.

“We can’t jubilate too much because we need to think about the next match [Asante Kotoko],” he told the media after the FA Cup win.

Acknowledging the stakes of the rivalry, he added, “Kotoko needs the win, and we also need the win. Let’s wait till 15th December to see what happens because that game is a three-point match.”

Ouattara expressed confidence in his team’s ability to rise to the occasion, emphasizing their aim to avoid defeat against the Porcupine Warriors.

“We are going for the three points; if we don’t get it, we take a point,” he stated.

The much-anticipated encounter will take place at the Baba Yara Stadium, promising another thrilling chapter in Ghanaian football’s fiercest rivalry.
