The National Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joseph Yamin, has declared the party’s readiness for the upcoming elections, asserting that they are “99.7% ready to win.”

Speaking to Joy News during the NDC’s final rally at Zurak Park in Madina, Accra, Mr. Yamin emphasized the party’s extensive preparations. “We have been organized long ago and have been waiting for this moment,” he stated. “As I speak now, we are 99.7% ready to win the election.”

While reflecting on the rally’s venue, Mr. Yamin explained that the party initially planned for a larger location to accommodate their supporters. However, due to challenges in securing government-controlled spaces, they settled for Zurak Park.

He described the rally as the final step before focusing entirely on claiming power.

“This is the last rally we will do before we go and prepare ourselves to take over power,” he noted.

Mr. Yamin expressed pride in the enthusiasm of the NDC’s supporters, emphasizing their readiness to “defend the flag of the NDC” on election day.

He also stressed the need for vigilance, urging supporters and citizens to remain alert and firm against any forms of intimidation.

“What is left now is being vigilant and standing firm against intimidation,” he advised.

Additionally, he cautioned against violence, calling on Ghanaians to resist provocations. “We must not engage in violence; rather, anyone who attempts to bring it should be prepared for our people to resist,” he warned.
