Albert Amoah’s late heroics secured a vital 1-0 victory for Asante Kotoko over their fierce rivals Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The closely contested Matchday 13 clash saw both teams struggle to break the deadlock during the first half.
However, in stoppage time, Amoah seized the opportunity to score the decisive goal, taking advantage of a mix-up between Kelvin Osei Asibey and goalkeeper Benjamin Asare.

Amoah’s impressive performance earned him the Man of the Match award, capping off a memorable night for the forward.
The victory propelled Asante Kotoko to sixth place on the league table, overtaking Hearts of Oak, who slipped to seventh.
