Voting at the Suma Ahenkuro Presbyterian B polling centre in the Jaman North Constituency has been delayed due to technical difficulties with the activation of the Biometric Verification (BV) machine.
As of 7: 30am, no voter has been able to cast their ballot, causing frustration among early voters who arrived at the polling centre expecting a smooth process.
Electoral officials are working to resolve the issue to ensure voting begins as soon as possible.
Voting has however commenced in most polling stations across the country.
Voting began at 7:43 at the Suma Ahenkuro Presbyterian B polling center after the EC successfully activated the BV machine.
By 7:54, six people had cast their votes.
