The Member of Parliament for Mpraeso Constituency in the Eastern Region, Davis Ansah Opoku (popularly known as OPK), has called on the electorate to retain the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in office to ensure a brighter and more prosperous future for the younger generation.
Speaking at the commissioning of the Kwawu South Assembly’s share of the District Roads Improvement Program (DRIP) machines in Kwawu Praso, MP Davis Ansah Opoku emphasized the importance of continuity in governance.
He urged Ghanaians to vote for the NPP, warning that a return to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) could jeopardize the country’s progress.
According to him, the NPP has proven to be the only party capable of building the nation and securing a sustainable future, citing the numerous policies, programs, and social interventions that have significantly improved the lives of residents in Kwawu South and across the country.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Kwawu South Municipal Assembly, Emmanuel Atta Ofori Snr, also highlighted the significance of the newly commissioned DRIP machines.
He noted that the machines would play a crucial role in improving the condition of the municipality’s roads, many of which are in poor shape.
