The Multimedia Group Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Guinness Ghana Limited to begin a road safety campaign dubbed, “Twa Kwan no mmom”.
The MoU, which is expected to run for three years will see the two institutions champion, promote and coordinate road safety in Ghana.
The collaboration will be directed at changing driver and pedestrian attitudes and influence policy that will culminate in making roads safer in Ghana.
The Chief Operations Officer of the Multimedia Group Limited, Ken Ansah, expressed his excitement and willingness of the multimedia brand to promote the initiative and help make it a success.
“We believe there are so many things we can change in three years in terms of driver and pedestrian attitudes, influence the overall policies and all the things that come together to make our roads safe”, he stated.
On his part, the Managing Director of Guinness Ghana limited, Gavin Pike, expressed his excitement about the partnership, saying it will strengthen and formalise the existing arrangements his outfit has with the Multimedia brand.
“As the leading alcohol beverage in Ghana we believe that Guinness Ghana limited has a critical role to play in shaping responsible consumption of alcohol; its part of our sustainability and responsibility initiatives as a good cooperate citizen of the country,” he said.
