Musicians often have other acts they look up to in the budding days of their career.

Some acknowledge those trailblazers when they grow up, others also openly declare musicians who inspired them to keep up with their career and talent.

Recently, the ‘Nothing I Get’ hitmaker, Fameye mentioned musician King Ayisoba as the one who motivated him to keep up and never back down from the music craft.

With DopeNation, rapper EL inspired them since their up-and-coming days when they were about leaving Senior High School.

The duo added that, EL is a top-notch rapper, hence aided them in every way to attain the limelight by having a father and son relationship with them.

With their record deal with Lynx Entertainment, they said it was just business and nothing else like the relationship they have with EL.

“What we have with EL is a relationship. He mentored us and invited us to his recording studio. What we have with him is like father and son relationship, but what we have with Lynx is a record deal and we are cool with EL,” they said.

To those accusing them of mimicking EL, they said such claims make them feel celebrated instead of getting to them.

“EL is a great artiste and we have been listening to him since Senior High School days till now. We see it as a compliment when people say we should like him. It makes us feel great…,” they said.
