Three brothers have drowned a few hours to their big brother’s wedding in Nungua, a suburb of Accra.
The three brothers who had come from Kumasi together with another brother decided to go and take a bath in the sea before the event when the unfortunate incident happened.

One of them who was saved by a lifeguard in an interview with Joy News explained how their fun-filled event turned tragic.
“I realized the tidal waves had changed in the course of our swimming and came out of the water. I tried to save one of them but I couldn’t hold on to him because the waves kept changing.”

The beach guard Mohammed Baako, however, explained how a lot of patrons ignore the use of the lifeguard.
“We always advise people to use the lifeguard and sometimes have to get inside the water but they will refuse and end up even insulting us. About 6 people between November and December have lost their lives.”

However, the big brother revealed the marriage ceremony will still go on even though they are in a sad state.
The Ghana Police Service has however begun a search for the bodies of the three brothers.
