Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, has been made ambassador of a sanitation project being embarked on at Ashaiman.
The Ashaiman Municipal Assembly has started its 10 Year Anniversary with a sanitation fair dubbed “TOILET IN EVERY HOME” — a campaign against open defecation.
In tandem with this, the ‘Tomorrow’ singer has been appointed by the assembly to help propel this worthy cause.

According to Stonebwoy who comes from Ashaiman, he is hopeful that with the support of the people of Ashaiman and corporate Ghana, the campaign would yield result.
“I believe with the Sanitation Fund launched by the Netherlands Embassy (@nlinghana ) together with the Government of Ghana, @unicefghana , Apex Bank; households in Ashaiman can supported in building their own toilet facilities to reduce open defecation,” he wrote on Facebook.
Stonebwoy has also been instrumental in fighting social problems such as road accidents. His Livingstone Foundation has in the past made donation to victims of the accident ward at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.

Having lived most part of his life at Ashaiman, connects with the residents of the community.
He holds annual concert dubbed ‘Ashaiman to the World’ at Ashaiman as a way of giving back to his people.
