Dancehall artiste, Samini has said that he still thinks he is among the top three musicians in Ghana currently.
The musician with lots of hit songs to his credit told Adom FM’s Ohemaa Woyeje in an interview that he is still a reigning champion in the music industry as according to him, no one has overtaken him nor taken his title as a great performer and lyricist from him.
His achievements in the industry, he said, include raising young artistes who are now hit makers in the country.
“No one has overtaken my status. I’m in the first three top trending artistes. If you have the right material the impact is big these days.
“The record I have is, I am the only artiste who can boast of young acts who are in the industry doing very well and reaching higher heights…” he boasted.
After years of doing music, Samini said he can also boast of acquiring and maintaining certain properties with proceeds from the great lyrical contents he has been producing.
The ‘Linda’ hit maker revealed he ventured into the agriculture business hence he owns a farmland in the Northern part of Ghana where he comes from.
The CEO of the High-Grade recording studio further talked about his ‘Damsterdam’ pub in Dansoman, a popular suburb in Accra where patrons troop in unrestrictedly to have their moments.
Adding to the list, he claimed to have some other personal investments that will eventually see him through life with less struggle.
“I own the Damsterdam pub. I am into agriculture. I have a farmland in the Northern part of Ghana…,” he said.
“I’m just like any other individual who would want to take his money and put it into other areas to invest. I have personal investments that really help me in this life…” he disclosed on Mid-morning show, Work and Happiness.
