The Founder and leader of the Heaven’s Gate Ministries, Nicholas Osei, popularly known as Prophet Kumchacha has finally revealed how he attained his popular name, “Kumchacha”.
According to the man of God, his miraculous works as a prophet got him the name ‘Kumchacha’ when he was preaching in the United States some years ago.
Recalling the encounter, he said after healing a man who was crippled and another who was impotent in Connecticut, one of the states in America, the people decided to confer the Latin name on him.

He disclosed that, in Latin the name Kumchacha simply means, “an anointed man of God”.

“Kumchacha means a man of God. I was in USA some time ago and I was in Connecticut, Los Angeles and Massachusetts. During the work, there was a man who was crippled and after the prayer, he was restored; another was also impotent but got healed so they gave me the name [Kumchacha]. It was later that I got to know the meaning so it basically means an anointed person of God”, he explained.
