The 2018 edition of the annual MTN Carols Service of Nine Lessons was nothing short of a fun-packed night of music and laughter.
The event at the Fantasy Dome at the Trade Fair on Friday night was a perfect starter to this year’s Christmas festivities.
Known for putting up impressive and hilarious carols night concerts, this year’s just like the previous years, had some of Ghana’s biggest acts on the bill.
Some of the acts who thrilled patrons at this year’s event included Kuami Eugene, Joe Mettle, Patapaa, Adina, and Kwesi Arthur.
They all took turns to perform some of their favourite Christmas carols as the world await the birth of Jesus Christ.
While all the acts put up one of their best performances on the night, ‘One Corner’ hitmaker Patapaa simply stole the show.
Often criticised for not being a good musician and singer, Patapaa was a delight to watch on the night.
Wearing a beautiful MTN-branded shirt, the musician backed by a choir, performed an interesting rendition of the popular Christmas carol ‘Jingle Bell’ to the delight of the audience.
