“One Corner” crooner, Patapaa Amisty, who recently lost out on the “Most Popular Song of the Year” at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards has been rewarded at the MMC Live concert over the weekend.
The Swedru-based Artiste was awarded a Huawei smartphone at the National Theatre for his “One Corner” song that went international.
Ghanaian Comedian, DKB, presented the award to him.

This comes exactly a week after he lost out to Fancy Gadam at the VGMAs in the “Most Popular Song of the Year” category with his “Total Cheat” song.
After the awards, he lambasted the organizers of the award for allegedly taking a bribe from Fancy Gadam for the award.
Most people including critics of entertainment industry also suggested that ‘One Corner’ deserved to have won in that category.

The 2018 edition of ‘Music, Magic & Comedy Live’ concert was held at the National Theatre in Accra over the weekend.
The show which was aimed at bringing artistes closer to their fans for quality entertainment through music, magic and comedy featured comedians like Jacinta and DKB with musical performances from Samini, King Promise, Patapaa, among others.
World-acclaimed magician, illusionist and mentalist, Larry Soffer from South Africa, also thrilled the audience with his performance.
The Music, Magic and Comedy Live 2018 concert was put together by Global Media Alliance.
