While his spiritual leader appeared to appreciate the act, the video has sparked a heated debate on social media.
Many netizens have expressed disapproval, arguing that LilWin’s flamboyant display of wealth is disrespectful to Christianity’s core values.
Critics believe that instead of making a spectacle, the actor could have discreetly offered the money as tithe or offertory.
On the other hand, some supporters see LilWin’s action as a form of genuine gratitude and celebration for overcoming hardships.
