Video: Never seen before interview with Ebony

-

It is exactly a year since the nation was thrown into shock with the passing of Dancehall artist, Ebony Reigns.

The singer, born Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, was traveling from the Brong-Ahafo regional capital, Sunyani to Accra but never got to her destination; dying in a tragic car accident on Thursday, February 8, 2018.

The 21-year-old and three other persons were on board a Jeep with registration number AS 497-16, when their vehicle got involved in a head-on collision with a VIP bus heading towards Sunyani.

The driver of the vehicle escaped death. However, the two other occupants — a military officer identified as Francis Atsu Vondee and Ebony’s female friend identified only as Frankie — died later at the Bechem Government Hospital after they were rushed there.

However, before her death, Andy Dosty host of Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM had an exclusive interview with the bubbly singer which never got to the public.

Late Ebony in the interview talks mostly about her journey in the music industry. She explained why she started her music career so early in her life.

She commented on issues of female artistes having intimate relationships with their managers. “I know some female artistes who are going through that. My relationship with Bullet goes beyond work, he is like my big brother,” she said.

The late singer in this interview was her usual fun self.
