Police in Bono Regional Capital of Sunyani have arrested two National Democratic Congress (NDC) delegates at the Sunyani West polling station.
The delegates, whose names are being withheld, were said to have been arrested for separate misconducts – one, for riding a motorbike carelessly and the other for the possession of a knife.

Their arrest have been confirmed by the Sunyani West District Police Commander, DSP Francis Numado.
DSP Numado said both suspects were arrested Saturday morning at the Fiapre Presbyterian School where elections were ongoing.
He also confirmed that one of the suspects was riding an unregistered motorbike under the influence of alcohol.

He said they would be released after the elections.
